Isautier Volcanique is an arranged rum from Reunion made from traditional molasses rum. This reference is part of the "Fresque de la Réunion" series.
The aim of this collection is to pay tribute to the island's terroir.
This recipe combines Reunionese Victoria pineapple, guava and chili pepper with Isautier rum.
You can enjoy this fresh arrangé, with or without ice, as an aperitif or after-dinner drink.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is generous and fresh like a juice of very sweet exotic fruits, or like a cocktail with pineapple and sweet spices. Neither alcohol nor chili pepper disturb this delicacy which invites you to travel and dream.
The mouth is very soft and thick, with a very sweet touch that only briefly masks the fire of spices that soon arises on the palate. All this is perfectly reasonable, of course, but the chili is still there, tickling the pineapple and the taste buds. It fades quite quickly in the greed and sweetness of the fruit juice, so much so that we want to go back for more quite quickly.
“A rum arrangement that lives up to its name…!”

An explosion in the mouth, what a pleasure
Gwén.
Watch out for the spicy, peppery taste - it's special and impressive.
