La Maison du Rhum Guatemala batch #4 is a cuvée of rum from Casa Botran.
Produced from cane honey (cooked cane juice halfway between pure juice and molasses), this rum is distilled in a multi-column still.
Aging is carried out according to the solera principle: younger rums are blended with older ones throughout the aging process.
The casks used are old bourbon barrels, some of which have been reheated.
