Shrubb Orange is a traditional drink in Martinique. It's made from white rum in which sun-dried orange peels have been macerated for 1 to 2 weeks. Cane sugar and spices are then added, giving the Shrubb both a gourmet taste and a kick!
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, the sweetness of candied orange peel perfumed with vanilla invades our senses. Its oily bitterness is completely melted by the rum, and a few sweet spices gently spice it up.
The palate is soft and sweet, giving it a very suave, silky texture. The orange peel is languorously coated with rum and cane sugar, its fragrant oil loaded with sweet spices in the long finish.
"A very smooth, coated shrubb, to be enjoyed chilled, or even better on the rocks..."
