Following the success of the first version of the Ti Arrangé Ananas Caramel beurre salé, Cédric Brément is back with a new base of agricultural rum aged for 6 months in whisky barrels!
Nico's tasting notes
The nose first offers us aromas of fresh rum and pineapple, with a very lively side that immediately avoids the trap of being too sweet. The greediness is well and truly in order, however, and the citrus aromas associated with agricultural rum are very nicely candied.
On the palate, a sweet pineapple juice soaked in rum marks a fresh and fruity attack, although round to the touch. The caramel enters the scene and thickens this wave of fruit. It is accompanied by sweet spices slowly extracted from the wood and completely melted.
"An arranged rum at the height of technicality and mastery..."
