Les Rhums de Ced Ti Chaça is an innovation for 2023 presented by the famous rum arranger Ti Ced.
Here, the recipe is tropical, with mango spiced up with vegetarian chilli. Flavors perfectly mastered and combined with Brazilian cachaça.
Yoann's tasting notes
The nose starts directly on vegetal, fresh and almost spicy notes. The creaminess that is brought to our nostrils brings the sensation of being on a market in spring with before our eyes a stall of chilies and peppers. After a few moments, it is the turn of the juice of a very ripe mango to make its appearance. It flows between our fingers while we prepare the mango to taste it in the early morning.
On the palate, there is a certain smoothness. We quickly have the sensation of tasting a cold soup with a marriage of vegetal and sweet notes. The mango and the vegetarian chili pepper mix with the cachaça to bring sweetness and deliciousness, with at times the notes of fresh cane juice. The mango is exceptionally juicy and the chili pepper is as if preserved in a syrup. It brings a comforting warmth. We expect this spicy side which does not however come to upset our taste buds.
The finish is very tasty and delicately spicy. The sugar of the mango lingers on the tongue with delicacy.
