Malorhum Kaktus is a cooked arranged rum, made 100% by hand in the port city of Saint-Malo, Brittany. It's a slightly spicy rum, ideal for a tonic moment!
It's made with Guadeloupe agricultural white rum from the island's oldest distillery, and elements that are cooked, flambéed, reduced or caramelized. The recipe includes cactus, prickly pear, lemon, Espelette pepper, Combava leaves, spices, cane sugar syrup and honey. Everything is sorted and weighed before cooking, and again afterwards. This is followed by 5 or 6 months' maceration in the bottle, to allow the aromas to meld with the rum.
