With this new edition, Naga has chosen to link Indonesia with the vineyards of Bordeaux.
Naga Anggur rum is matured in ex-wine casks from Château Pas de l'Ane Saint-Emilion Grand Cru.
In Indonesian, Anggur means vine.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose matches the color, with hints of sweet red fruits and exotic accents. Mild spices enrich this abundant, yet gentle and balanced profile, which carries a few vegetal and resinous notes.
Aeration opens us up to yellow fruits, with a delicate fullness of honeyed wood and spicy herbs. The rum then finds a complex harmony, comparable to a floral perfume. With rest, it returns to a woody, fruity profile, with black and red berries. Once again, the rosé color doesn't lie...
The palate is soft and delicate, rather light, with citrus fruit and a hint of red fruit. A hint of toast appears on the mid-palate, along with nuts and sweet spices.
The finish is very light, finely vegetal, gently spicy.
"A fragrant, harmonious and original rum, with great lightness on the palate..."
