Papa Rouyo Jénérasyon is an agricultural rum produced in Guadeloupe from pure sugarcane juice . It reflects the artisanal approach of the Papa Rouyo distillery, created in homage to Charles Albert Ruscade, nicknamed Papa Rouyo, and to the heritage of Guadeloupean sugarcane planters.
This cuvée was column -distilled before being aged for three years in a tropical climate. Its creation relies on a selection of seven casks: five ex-Cognac casks and two new French oak casks . The blending of these different casks reflects the meticulous work carried out on the wood, the toasting levels, and the aging methods.
