This Pineau des Charentes Cask Finish from Plantation is the fruit of a blend of very old molasses rums from several destinations.
After fermentation lasting several days to a week, these rums are distilled in iron and column stills in renowned distilleries around the world: Cuba, Fiji, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad, Panama, Haiti, Saint Lucia, Reunion and Nicaragua.
They then spent several years in their respective countries in bourbon barrels (tropical climate), a few years at Château de Bonbonnet in Ferrand cognac barrels (continental climate), and a further 8 months in a barrel of old white Pineau des Charentes.
This unique cask was bottled in 2021. Each bottle is numbered.
