The Nursery cuvée from the Single Farm Origins collection is a creation of the Renegade distillery.
The Single Farm Origins range reflects Mark Reynier's desire to cultivate the concept of terroir as closely as possible. This series is based on blends of pot still and column rums, sourced from different plots on a single farm. The rums are aged in French and American oak barrels.
This vintage showcases the terroir of the Nursery farm, located in the south of the island of Grenada. This farm features terraced fields with clay soils and abundant volcanic rock.
Reduced to 46°, this rum is the result of a blend of 26 barrels. Of these, 20% are French oak, the rest are American oak (45% ex-bourbon and 35% new barrels).
