This 24-year-old Rest & Be Thankful rum comes from Jamaica. It is distilled from molasses in an iron still at the Clarendon distillery, also known as Monymusk.
It was casked on July 17, 1998 in an American oak barrel bearing the number 13255, which had previously contained bourbon.
This rum has benefited from tropical and then continental aging to reach a total of 24 years.
The MMW mark (MonyMusk Wedderburn) has a volatile substances content of 593.5 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol, and an esters content of 147.2 g/hlap.
The share of angels is over 64%. Bottling took place on September 5, 2022 in Scotland. A total of 125 bottles were produced. The rum is bottled without reduction, coloring or cold filtration.
