Rest & Be Thankful Monymusk 24 ans is an aged Jamaican rum with a distinctive finish.
Distilled from molasses in 1998 at the Monymusk distillery, this is a light rum with the AHJ mark. This mark translates into an iron still distillation and an ester level of between 60 and 90 g/hlap. On leaving the still, the rum had a congeners content of 844.5 g/hlap, 85 g/hlap of which were esters.
The rum was bottled on November 4, 1998, and only released 24 years later. Aging is tropical and continental.
During the final months of its maturation, it was finished in a Bruichladdich whisky barrel.
Bottling by IB Rest & Be Thankful on July 10, 2023 resulted in 296 copies.
