Rest & Be Thankful Monymusk 24 ans is a Jamaican rum distilled in 1998 from molasses.
It comes from Jamaica's Monymusk distillery, also known as Clarendon. It bears the MBK mark, which corresponds to a target ester content at the still outlet of between 70 and 80 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol.
The result for this rum is 566.8 g/hlap of volatile substances, including 82.1 g/hlap of esters.
Put into cask on November 11, 1998, it benefited from a long ageing period of 24 years, part of which was spent in the tropics.
Cask #27848 produced 169 bottles on February 6, 2023.
There was no cold filtration and no additions.
