Roble Ron Viejo Zafra 2004 is a rum from Venezuela. It is distilled in a series of 5 columns from local molasses.
"Zafra" refers to the period during which sugar cane is harvested. This name was chosen because the aim of this cuvée is to highlight an exceptional vintage.
This is a blend of the 10 best rum barrels from the 2004 vintage. These were aged for 15 years in the distillery's cellars.
Maturation took place in ex-bourbon American oak casks, as well as in former Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
This cuvée was produced in a limited edition of 1,000.
