Ron Colon 81 Proof Salvadoreno is a blend of molasses rums from El Salvador and Jamaica. Different styles and methods are represented, including short and long fermentation, column and alembic distillation.
This blend is based on a 6-year-old rum produced in El Salvador by the Licorera Cihuatán distillery and selected by cellar master Gabriella Ayala. It is combined with a blend of pot still and column distilled Jamaican white rums from Worthy Park, Hampden and Monymusk, and another 3-year-old Jamaican rum from Worthy Park.
