Rhum Attitude is hosting for the first time a party at Danico, in Paris, on Thursday 20 July 2017 from 6pm to 9pm.
White, amber or dark rum is fine, but it doesn't tell us how and why all rums in the world are so different.
During this evening, we propose to understand the diversity of traditions and production of rums. To do so, we will present the classification proposed by Luca Gargano, passionate adventurer, great collector, and owner of the now mythical Velier house.
We will welcome you at Danico, in the heart of the sublime Vivienne gallery, in the cosy atmosphere of the bar that offers some of the best cocktails in the world. You will be able to taste the 6 rums presented for only 20€ (to be paid on the spot or in advance on our website), and we will be there to explain to you everything you always wanted to know about rum.
Not a bad start to the evening, eh?
Here is the selection that awaits you, with a short introduction to classification. Come and see us to find out more!
Pure Single Rum : Habitation Velier WP Forsyths white 2nd edition
All the power and authenticity of Jamaica. And for those who want to compare with the 1st edition we will also have the bottle (without extra charge of course).
Pure Single Agricole Rum : Chamarel Coeur de Chauffe
A real sugar cane bonbon from Mauritius
Single Blended Rum: Foursquare Triptych
Velier's latest release that everyone is talking about
Agricultural Rum: HSE Marquis de Terme
The most successful finish in the HSE world? Also the most difficult to find...
Traditional rum : TCRL Guadeloupe 2014
Guadeloupe also makes very good molasses rums
Rum: Ferroni Cuba 2011
A Cuban rum made in Marseille by Guillaume Ferroni
There will also be other rums, to be consumed in moderation. It will be a very nice evening...
Plan to come early if you want to enjoy your 6 rums! We won't be taking any more guests from 8pm onwards (but you can finish your set of 6 started before that time, quietly)
