We're hosting a new evening at La Table du Loup, Paris, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 6:30pm.
La Table du Loup is a "tapas bar" well known to some rum lovers in the Paris region. It offers a good selection of rums and spirits, as well as house-arranged rums. You can, of course, dine in and drop in on us between courses to receive a dose of one of our precious rums, and the explanations that go with it...
There will be some fifteen rums representing all the major categories. As always, you can vote for the bottles present by taking part in the poll.
The rums you'll be able to taste at the party, in addition to a dozen others, will be :
Velier The Antigua Distillery 2012 Heavy 66° - traditional old Antigua rum
Compagnie des Indes Clarendon Brut de Fût 11 ans 55° - traditional old Jamaican rum
Depaz Single Cask 2003 45° - old Martinique agricultural rum
Longueteau Symphonie Brut de fût 49.2° - aged agricultural rum Guadeloupe
and Longueteau Constellation 57.5° - limited edition white rum from Guadeloupe
And since we'd promised to bring Ced Point G's excellent Ti' Arrangé Ananas Millésime 2015 32°(here the 2018 version) - arranged in salt marshes - we added it to the list.
A contribution of €20 per person will enable you to taste all the rums we have available. In moderation, of course: we serve small doses sufficient for a tasting, and a spittoon is at your disposal...
Tickets must be ordered in advance (we'll simply ask for your e-mail address as proof). Each ticket entitles you to taste all the rums we'll be making available.
Feel free to share theevent on facebook
Please note: in order to maintain the conviviality of the evening, the number of places is limited to the first 30 registrants.
You can cancel up to 48 hours before the event (we will give you a full refund).
