For its 15th cuvée in the Wonders of the World collection, Swell de Spirits has selected a rum from the island of Marie-Galante.
Straight from the cellars of the Bielle distillery, this rum distilled in 2015 crossed the Atlantic aboard the sailing vessel Avontuur. Sailing for the TOWT company, this cargo yacht transports goods across the oceans in a low-carbon way.
This 8-year-old rum spent 7 years in the tropics and one year in mainland France, before being bottled brut de fût in March 2023. Its color is natural, unfiltered and unadulterated.
The single barrel produced 298 bottles.
