Talisker Port Ruighe is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Skye. Named after the island's main port, where thousands upon thousands of Port casks were unloaded. As a tribute to this heritage, Talisker has been double-matured in port wine casks.
This whisky is usually slightly peaty, but not because of the technique used to dry its malt. This is because the spring water used to make it flows through peat fields.
