Wild Tiger Special Reserve Rum is a traditional Indian molasses rum. It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
Blending and bottling take place in Kerala, on the banks of the Bharathapuzha (south of the Ganges).
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, this rum is a real fruit and vanilla bonbon. It oscillates gently between strawberry-milk candy and raspberry ice cream. The exotic touch is greedy, between sweet spices, vanilla and a floral side strongly marked by ylang ylang. Coconut also makes an appearance, blending in perfectly with the decor, with its exotic, milky feel. A hint of coffee and roasting follow.
Aeration develops this roasted side, with notes of caramel that were not present at the start. The rum continues to develop other aromas, with a hint of citrus (lemon, orange) giving a fresh, fragrant, almost soap-like quality. Then the profile encountered on the first nose returns with all its sweetness: vanilla, ylang ylang and coconut.
The attack on the palate is extremely soft and suave, with caramel and vanilla giving the wine its round, mellow character. The spices are mild, even if pepper lightly titillates the taste buds. This is definitely a candy rum, with clean notes of sugar and caramel, followed by a seductive touch of sweet almond.
The finish is on vanilla and the impression of a rather light rum with caramelized accents.

A perfect aroma, my son really enjoyed tasting it, I'll keep it in mind for a future purchase.

What's this? It's not rum, it tastes like candy dipped in alcohol.
