Worthy Park 12 Year Old is a Jamaican molasses rum distilled in a Double Retort type Pot Still .
It benefits from 12 years of aging in ex-Bourbon casks and is bottled without chill filtration.
Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose : Almond milk and vanilla rise from the glass, as you get closer ripe fruits (roasted pineapple) are clearly felt sliding towards olive, with small notes of varnish.
On the palate : It is round and pastry-like, the molasses releases the fruits which give way to small notes of blond tobacco and leather.
The finish : Quite long, with notes of caramel, blond tobacco and leather.
