This peated single malt (20ppm) aged in bourbon casks is bottled under the Machrie Moor brand. It comes from the Arran distillery, located on the island of the same name, which has been producing a small quantity of peated malted barley since 2004.
The peat used to produce this whisky comes from the Machrie Moor. These are located on the west coast of the Isle of Arran.
