White agricultural rum from Guadeloupe, strawberries, Thai basil leaves, bird's eye chili, spices and cane sugar: these are the ingredients of this Strawberry - Thai Basil rhum arrangé.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is gourmand, with a very ripe strawberry, round and almost creamy. It mingles sensually with the rum, and the cane soon embraces a velvety basil leaf. The rhum agricole adds an exotic touch to the strawberry, bringing it close to passion fruit or pineapple.
The attack on the palate is round and fruity, but beware! A wave of pepper and spice invades the palate, warming it ardently. The rhum agricole adds pepper from its bark and bagasse. A slight bitterness of lime zest remains on the palate.
