In 2010, the legendary Port Mourant still was used to produce this rum. This distillation unit is currently at Diamond Distillers Ltd in Guyana.
Today, Port Mourant is one of the oldest wooden stills in operation. It has changed distilleries several times following successive closures.
This vintage has not benefited from tropical aging. It was imported to England in 2010 to age in the cellars of Bristol Spirits Ltd in American oak barrels.
Bottling was carried out at 45°, and there was no prior filtration.
