For their 80th Whisky Sponge selection, the Scots at Decadent Drinks have selected what they consider to be the best Glen Spey whisky ever tasted.

Distilled in 1989 in Glen Spey stills, this vintage comes from a single 250 liter Hogshead barrel. After the long aging of 32 years, this single malt scotch whiskey was slightly reduced from 65° to a TAV of 60°.

The angels' share was very high in the Scottish climate, so much so that only 114 bottles were produced from the cask.
