This Chatel arranged rum features Victoria Pineapple. Bourbon vanilla adds extra sweetness.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is quite natural, with ripe, pressed pineapple juice. As is often the case, this pineapple has hints of coconut, which naturally lead to vanilla. A balanced power that carries the aromas just right.
Time and temperature will produce an increasingly ripe pineapple.
The palate is less fruity than the nose, more like barba-papa or barley sugar. Out of nowhere, a hint of roastiness reminds us of maple syrup. Pineapple is present, of course, but it takes its time and arrives quietly, ripe to the point of ripeness.
The finish is sweet, with a touch of tonka bean, marron glacé and vanilla.
"A pineapple candy, to be enjoyed chilled as a syrup or at room temperature for more fruit..."

I love this rum and it's not easy to find.
Customer
Vanilla taste too strong. Can't taste the pineapple. Sickening even when mixed.
