This bottling of Frères de la Côte's La Favorite rum is the first in the Tres Hombres 2023 rotation.
Selected and casked in February 2023, this white rum comes from the 2022 harvest. Tonnellerie Navarre's barrels have previously contained Marsala. This is a fortified Sicilian wine with sweet almond notes.
The casks were then shipped to France on the famous motorless sailing ship Tres Hombres.
The voyage allowed for dynamic brewing of the casks during the 4 months at sea. This gourmet, committed selection was bottled in September 2023 at 54.7% after a 3-month rest.
This selection gave rise to 1900 numbered copies. A 5 cl miniature of 55° white rum collected in Martinique before barreling accompanies the bottle. You will therefore have the opportunity to see the influence of dynamic farming at sea.
