Master distiller Eugène Massenez was the first artisan to distill wild raspberries in 1913.
Its eau-de-vie enjoyed real success thanks in particular to the loyalty of the Queen of Sweden. The latter indeed fell under the spell of this raspberry during her numerous trips to Alsace.
At this time, Massenez became the official supplier to the court of His Majesty the King of Sweden.
The Origine range launched in 2011 offers fine and elegant eaux-de-vie in a bottle inspired by one dating from 1870.
To produce one bottle, you need around 8 kg of wild raspberries. These fruits are picked early in the morning, with dew.
