Rest & Be Thankful 23 years Monymusk is a molasses rum produced in Jamaica at the Clarendon distillery.
This rum, distilled in 1999, was casked on May 6, 1999. As is often the case in Jamaica, bourbon barrels were used.
The mark is MPG: a rather light rum, with 704.9 g/hlap volatile substances and 98.3 g/hlap esters.
This cask, number 7537, underwent its first tropical ageing before continuing its maturation in Scotland.
The angels' share is over 57%. Bottling took place on September 5, 2022, and the cask delivered a total of 143 bottles.
The rum is brut de fût because it has not been reduced. It has not been cold-filtered, and its color is natural.
