This rhum arrangé, made near Nantes from AOC rum from Martinique, combines fruit with chocolate.
It won a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole in 2014.
Tasting tip from Cédric: swirl the rum around in your mouth. The first taste is of banana, followed by cocoa, which lingers in the mouth.
This 450 cl format will delight aficionados of Ced's rums.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is a beautiful combination of copper and bronze.
On the nose, the different elements that make up this arrangé are clearly visible. First cocoa, then banana (here roasted) and finally vanilla. Needless to say, it's delicious.
On the palate, the first impression is of banana, quickly replaced by cocoa. The whole is very smooth.
The finish is fairly long and dominated by cocoa (including texture).

Patoche
The 4.5L bottle is pretty messy, so be sure to have a syringe ready for shots, or you'll spill it everywhere.
