This is a molasses rum distilled in British Guiana. It comes from the last distillery still in operation, Diamond.
The rum has benefited from several months of maturation in the cellars of Château du Breuil in Normandy. For this maturation, the cellar master selected old barrels that contained Oloroso Sherry.
