Saint Aubin Extra Premium Cacao is a variation of the Extra Premium Cœur de Chauffe rum.

Just like the expressions Café and Vanille , it is the result of a maceration with roasted cocoa beans. A dash of cane sugar completes the recipe. No other flavoring or additives enter into the composition.

Yoann's tasting notes

Unsurprisingly, the nose of this rum takes on a chocolatey note, with roasted cocoa beans at the forefront. A truly delicious aroma, which gradually detaches itself from the chocolate with aeration, returning to the rum's nose. Sugarcane juice, accompanied by spices like pepper, are also present. They remind us of the spirit this infusion is based on.

The palate is velvety and very indulgent. The alcohol is well-integrated and displays a beautiful sweetness. Roasted cocoa lingers persistently on the palate. Gradually, it gives way to vanilla and caramel notes. A creamy honey takes its place to affirm the roundness of this palate.

The finish , medium-long and sweet, is reminiscent of dark chocolate which makes you want to return to the glass for another tasting.
