Takamaka Pti Lakaz is a rum from the Trois Frères distillery, founded in 2002 on the Seychelles island of Mahé. It is a blend of pure cane juice rum and two molasses rums.
Once distilled in an iron still, the pure cane juice rum is aged in four different casks, including two port casks. It is then blended with molasses rum distilled in an iron and column still, aged for 3 years in ex-bourbon oak casks, and Bajan Foursquare 8-year-old molasses rum. Bottling is carried out without cold filtration or additives of any kind.
