Zero Nine Spirits presents its second selection of cognac from the cellars of the Grosperrin house in Saintes, Charente-Maritime.
This eau-de-vie was distilled in 1980 in the Cognac Bon Bois Contrôlée appellation. It was bottled in February 2023 at an optimum degree called "Cœur de Fût".
In 2005, Guilhem Grosperrin launched this new category, which he named Cœurs de fûts. It's a range comprising cognacs reduced to their degree of equilibrium. This balance is generally between 46° and 55°. The reduction of these eaux-de-vie is carried out in several stages and over several years, in order to obtain the "objective degree" which is set at the outset during a tasting prior to the very first reduction.
