Beach House
Beach House spiced rums are produced in the Pamplemousses region ofMauritius. Just like the island itself, they're full of fruit, spices and, of course, sugar cane! Our favorite grass covers 90% of the island's arable land, making it particularly well-suited to its cultivation. The island produces 400,000 tonnes of sugar a year, and the associated bagasse supplies 14% of the island's electricity needs.
These spiced rums are of course intended for cocktails, and are an invitation to exoticism and discovery. At Beach House, we speak of "wanderlust". In terms of production, the rums are light molasses rums, fermented for 35 hours and distilled in columns. After an initial reduction, the rum is left to rest. It is then infused with natural flavors and sugar, before undergoing a further reduction and another resting phase.
