Pusser's is a colloquial Royal Navy term for a logistics officer.
In its broadest sense, it also refers to any service provided by Her Majesty's Navy. Between the 17th century and 1970, Pusser's was responsible for managing the daily rum ration for sailors.
This ration was granted to make life easier for sailors on ships.

In 1979, Charles Tobias, the founder of the Pusser's brand, obtained the rights to the Royal Navy recipe and decided to found his company in Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. Still faithful to the tradition of Royal Navy rums, Pusser's rums are distilled in wooden stills according to a 200-year-old tradition.

Today, Pusser's is the only rum to faithfully reproduce what sailors have long tasted.
It's important to note that no sugar or flavoring is added to Pusser's rums before bottling.
Several international awards attest to the quality of Pusser's rums. Read less
