White rum from Puerto Rico, fresh coconut and cane syrup - that's the simple recipe for this world-renowned liqueur!
Nico's tasting notes
The nose opens with fresh, full-bodied coconut, rather natural. It's quickly lifted by fruity , tangy notes , like pineapple and piña colada. The sweet freshness enters into a rhythmic, colorful dance, giving rise to a desire for a chilled cocktail.
The palate is nicely sweetened and quickly coats itself with enticing coconut. The alcohol is light but present, teasing the coconut and lathering it up. A touch of tart freshness still lingers around, but is quickly overtaken by the thick, sweet coconut.
"This cocktail ingredient can even be drunk well chilled, on its own with ice cubes..."
