Depaz 2004 comes from the famous Montagne Pelée distillery in Martinique. This agricultural rum, made from pure sugarcane juice, is distilled in a copper Creole column. Depaz began this series of bruts de fûts with the 2000 vintage, which caused a huge stir on its release.
This 2004 vintage was aged for 14 years in small French oak barrels. It comes from barrel n°3371, extremely rare in France as it was originally intended for export.
