Depaz 2004 comes from the famous Montagne Pelée distillery in Martinique. This agricultural rum, made from pure sugarcane juice, is distilled in a copper Creole column. Depaz began this series of bruts de fûts with the 2000 vintage, which caused a huge stir on its release.
This 2004 vintage was aged for 14 years in small French oak barrels . It comes from barrel no. 3371, extremely rare in mainland France since it was initially intended for export.
