Emperor Deep Blue Cognac Finish is a rum with a unique aging experience.
This cuvée is made from a blend of 50% pure juice rum and 50% molasses rum. These rums, from Mauritius, are blended and matured for 10 months in old cognac casks.
Once bottled, the rum is immersed 60 meters deep in an underwater cellar. Located in Brittany, off the island of Ouessant, this cellar offers storage in the dark at a temperature of 11 to 13°C, without oxygen and with 7 bars of pressure.
Bottles that have been immersed for 9 months have acquired a unique profile.
