Flor de Cana 7 ans Blanco Reserva is a molasses rum produced by Nicaragua's only distillery, founded in 1890 in Chichigalpa. Located at the foot of the San Cristobal volcano, this family-run distillery has been run by the same family for 5 generations. Sugar cane benefits from mineral-rich soil.
The rum is column distilled, then aged for 7 years on site in American oak barrels that have previously contained bourbon. It is then charcoal-filtered to restore its crystal-clear color, while retaining the aromas acquired during the aging period.
A balanced, complex rum that can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails.

I already knew, and am not disappointed. Quality rum, very floral.
