Foursquare Sovereignty is a molasses rum from Barbados, aged 14 years in casks. This is the 19th bottling in the Foursquare distillery's Exceptional Cask Selection (ECS) series.
The rum was distilled in iron and column stills, then aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak barrels. It was bottled in November 2021 without cold filtration, coloring or additives.
Its name refers to November 30, 1966, the date on which Barbados gained independence from the United Kingdom.
