La Fabrique de l'Arrangé Spicy is a richly flavored spiced rum made from AOC Martinique agricultural rum.
This preparation is made from a cold infusion of Rooibos tea scented with spices. Rooibos comes from an acacia bush native to South Africa. It contains no theine.
Rich and well-balanced, with notes of citrus and spices, this "Spicy" can be drunk as an aperitif or a digestif. It is also ideal for cocktails.
Yoann's tasting notes
On the nose , citrus notes emerge with a fresh and juicy orange. Spices, especially cinnamon, take their place to transform the whole into a fruity sangria. Other spices, more timid, are present like cloves or cardamom. After a few minutes, vanilla and exotic fruits invite themselves to the party. They are accompanied by a bag of dried Rooibos leaves.
On the palate , the rather soft attack is on spicy flavors. The rum takes its place without hindrance. The sugar is well measured because the palate shows a very nice balance, round and gourmet without being excessive. Notes of orange and spices (cinnamon among others) develop, and here again suggests a very fresh Sangria.
The finish is delicious, with notes of vanilla and exotic fruits that could have been incorporated into this rum sangria.
