Long Pond VRW 2003 is a molasses rum from Jamaica, and more precisely from the parish of Trelawny.
This old rum is an official bottling of the Long Pond distillery. The distillery has long sold its rums without bottling them itself.
Distilled in John Dore pot-still, this rum carries the VRW mark (Vale Royale Wedderburn). This means that it is a rather light rum at the beginning (150-250 g/hlap in esters).
With 18 years in American oak barrels, this rum is a collector's item. It has been bottled in 320 copies and only 30 are available for the French market. We had one that we chose to propose in samples so that a maximum of people can taste it...
