Faria Bica Do Alambic cachaça Magnifica is distilled in a triple still and bottled without reduction or ageing.
Bica Do Alambic means "straight from the still".
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is gripped by a concentrated cane, with a well-crafted wild side. Truffle and earth meet on an organic side, always with mastery. The cane juice, slightly acidic and iodized, is accompanied by its faithful allies, lime zest and pepper.
With a little rest, this profile softens considerably, resulting in a soft, mellow cane. Its exuberant character has faded into its round, velvety juice.
In the mouth, cachaça warmly invades the palate with its silky, vegetal notes. Its slightly wild character returns in the mid-palate, with notes of iodine and fermentation, supported by a pinch of pepper. The cane unfurls again, brushing against the copper of the still and gracing us with a touch of olive.
The finish continues along this olive-in-brine path, still with a lovely, well-rounded texture. Hints of licorice molasses linger for a long time.
"A cachaça that has it all, round and concentrated, with just the right amount of power...".
