This amber rum made by the Guadeloupean Montebello distillery was aged for 2 years in oak barrels before being reduced to 50°.
It will enable you to make fine cocktails and ti-vieux (aged rum-based ti-punches).
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, this agricultural rum presents itself with a certain freshness and debonair simplicity. The cane has a well-adjusted, simply pleasing power, and a light spicy patina.
The aeration emphasizes the pure, green, sweet cane juice, fresh from the mill. You just want to enjoy this nectar straight from the field.
The palate continues with freshly pressed cane juice, green/brown and cloudy, full of sugar and promise. From this velvety cane emanate fragrant aromatic notes that take us to sage and tarragon, with an undisguised craving for gourmandise. The wood adds touches of nougat, coconut sugar, soft oak, almost putty.
The finish is tasty and round, retaining that pleasant sensation of pure cane juice.
"A snapshot of Guadeloupe, with extremely gourmet freshly pressed cane..."

Delicate fragrance, to be enjoyed in moderation, excellent.
