Navi Icare is a rum that has aged for 18 months in an ex-Caroni cask that had just been emptied of a 23-year-old rum.
Caroni is a legendary distillery that closed in 2022. It is known for its very distinctive rums, particularly with hydrocarbon notes.
Before being bottled, the rum rested for another year in stainless steel vats. Only 260 bottles were produced.
