L'Œilleton is the name given to this vintage of Papa Rouyo white rum.
It is made from the R579 and B80-0689 sugar cane varieties. These canes are grown on plots located in Moule in Guadeloupe. They benefit from a clay-limestone terroir.
Distillation is done in a pot still. For this 2022 harvest, different vintages were blended and slowly reduced between March and November. The reduction is made with spring water from Saint-Claude.
With this edition, the distillery pays homage to the sugar cane cycle. The pear corresponds to the bud that grows and
develops on the collar of the cane when it reaches maturity.
