This selection from the “Single Cask 2024” collection of the Planteray Rum range comes from Spain. It was distilled in 2012 by the Azucarera del Guadalfeo house.
This molasses rum is the result of a 48-hour fermentation followed by column distillation. It benefited from an initial aging of approximately 11 years and 4 months in old bourbon barrels in the Mediterranean climate.
The aging continued with a finish of 8 months in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks.
Bottling in 2024 was done without dosage, that is to say without the addition of sugar or sweetening caramel.
