This old rum from Barbados was aged for 8 years in ex-Bourbon casks in the tropics. It was then transferred to ex-Palo Cortado, Porto Ruby, Pedro Ximenez and Moscatel barrels, which arrived in Europe under sail. They travelled for 5 months on the brigantine Tres Hombres.
