Trelawny Explosion is a range of 3 Jamaican white rums from Hampden Estate. Through these rums, bottler Warehouse #1 proposes an aromatic explosion, during tasting, through 3 emblematic marks.
Distillé à partir de mélasse en alambic pot still dans la paroisse de Trelawny, ce rhum possède le mark C<>H que l’on prononce “C-Diamond-H”. Cela signifie que son taux d’esters se situe entre 1300 et 1400 g/hlap.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose offers us an unusual aromatic concentration, initially full of solvent and slightly metallic aromas. The rum bursts out of the glass and delivers sweeter aromas of fruity yogurt, blueberry, and especially very intense exotic fruits, such as jackfruit.
With aeration, the solvent with nuances of strawberry yogurt or red fruit sorbet does not give up, far from it.
The mouth is softer and more delicious than one could have imagined. In fact, the rum swells gently on the palate, taking care not to show too sharp or metallic angles. He prefers to melt his solvent notes into blackcurrant, raspberry, then exotic fruits of all kinds, from starfruit to overripe mango.
The finish is long and rich like a tropical fruit juice.
